Susan Murgo Hall,  Seminar ParticipantSusan Murgo Hall

Susan Murgo Hall began teaching at Massasoit Community College in 1990.   Initially, she taught Speech Communication I and English Composition I (and a few times, Introductory Writing), mainly in the college’s CHOICES program.  In 1992, she began to teach a one-size-fits-all English as a Second Language course at Bridgewater State College, which she taught until 1997.  In 1994, she also began to teach Beginning Spanish I and II, both here and at Bridgewater State College.  When she became a full-time faculty member at Massasoit in 1997, she continued teaching both Beginning Spanish I and II, and then “acquired” Intermediate Spanish I and II, as well as College ESL I.  Occasionally, she teaches College ESL II, Reading for ESL, and  Conversation and Pronunciation for ESL. Professor Hall holds degrees from the University of Maine, the University of Massachusetts/Boston, and Simmons College.  In July 1993 and in August 1997, she completed an immersion program in Spanish language and culture at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo in Santander, Spain.  She completed a similar course in French at Université Laval in Quebec, (Quebec) Canada in July-August 2001.  Professor Hall has also completed courses at Massasoit Community College and at Bridgewater State College.
